Aishvirita Vijayananthan is a PhD Candidate and Registered Clinical Psychologist (MAHPC(CP)00576) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, providing both in-person and online psychological services for local and international clients. With extensive experience across clinical, rehabilitation, educational, and corporate mental health settings, she specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and adults facing emotional, behavioural, developmental, and psychological challenges.
Aishvirita provides evidence-based psychological assessment, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and mental health interventions for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem issues, addiction recovery, relationship challenges, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her therapeutic approach integrates scientifically supported interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Throughout her career, Aishvirita has worked with diverse populations across hospitals, wellness centres, addiction recovery services, educational institutions, and corporate Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP). She has extensive experience conducting psychological assessments, delivering individual and group therapy, facilitating mental health workshops, and supporting workplace wellbeing initiatives for multinational organisations.
Known for her warm, and compassionate, Aishvirita strives to create a safe and collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She believes that meaningful change begins with self-awareness and that therapy can help individuals develop resilience, overcome challenges, and lead more fulfilling lives.
Her professional interests include trauma recovery, emotional wellbeing, workplace mental health, resilience building, child and adolescent mental health, caregiver support, and increasing access to culturally responsive psychological services within diverse communities.
